Position Details: Registered Nurse – PRN Mercy Clinic Spine & Pain Management – Southfork, 12700 Southfork Road, Suite 153 | St. Louis, MO 63128 Schedule: PRN (as‑needed coverage; day shift clinic hours) What You’ll Do As a PRN RN in our Spine & Pain Management clinic, you’ll provide flexible, as‑needed support to help care for patients with acute and chronic pain conditions. Your role is essential in maintaining clinic flow and delivering high‑quality care during peak times and staff coverage needs. Deliver compassionate, patient‑centered care while involving patients and families in treatment decisions Perform focused assessments, triage symptoms, and support ongoing evaluation of spine and pain‑related conditions Assist with clinic operations, including patient preparation, admissions, discharges, and post‑procedure care Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the care team to support treatment plans (including injections and interventional procedures) Communicate changes in patient condition promptly and follow appropriate escalation pathways Provide clear patient education on medications, procedures, recovery expectations, and pain management strategies Accurately document care, interventions, and education in the electronic medical record Support efficient clinic flow by prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing needs Why Join Mercy Spine & Pain Management?
