Director OF Nursing

Astoria Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation an 83 bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center located in the heart of Canton, Ohio, is currently seeking a skilled individual to fill the role of Assistant Director of Nursing, RN. Apply today for the opportunity to join our growing team!

Nursing Management in a Skilled Nursing Facility Preferred.

Ideal candidate will possess tenacity, compassion and strong leadership qualities.

Duties Include but are not limited to:

Collaborate Effectively with all Departments

Manage and supervise nursing staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations
Assist in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures
Oversee patient care plans and ensure they are effectively carried out

Monitor and maintain accurate medical records
Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care
Implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements

Desired Skills
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and nursing practices
Experience in nurse management within a nursing home or healthcare setting
Ability to manage nursing systems efficiently
Proficiency in developing care plans and overseeing their implementation
Familiarity with medical records management
Knowledge of home health practices is a plus
