Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others? Join as a traveling Physical Therapist where you'll help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
Current, active Virginia physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
Experience evaluating and treating outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries in a clinic setting.
Ability to communicate treatment plans and patient progress to multidisciplinary teams and referring physicians, including orthopedic and hand surgeons.
Experience working within team-based outpatient clinics preferred.
Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
Schedule: Monday through Friday work week.
Evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries, collaborate with in-house and specialty physicians, and assist center colleagues in clinical issue identification.
Chesapeake is adjacent to the Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge and is about a 20- to 30-minute drive from downtown Norfolk and the waterfronts of Norfolk Harbor. The city provides access to outdoor recreation such as boating and fishing on the Elizabeth River and nearby Chesapeake Bay, and is within a 30- to 60-minute drive of Virginia Beach's oceanfront and Cape Henry Lighthouse. Commuting is served by I-64 and I-664 corridors, offering regional connections to Hampton Roads military bases, museums, and the MacArthur Center shopping district in Norfolk.
