Banquet Captain (Full Time)

As the Banquet Captain, you'll play a pivotal role in turning those expectations into reality. You'll be the orchestrator behind the scenes, ensuring that each banquet runs smoothly and every guest leaves with a smile. Your leadership will guide the team, uphold the highest standards of service, and ensure that every event is executed flawlessly. Your Role: As the Banquet Captain, you’ll be at the heart of our events. Your mission is to oversee the setup and execution of banquets, ensuring every detail meets our hotel’s high standards. Here are some of the things you’ll do: Maintain knowledge of each function, from guest profiles to special requests, and ensure everything is set up according to the event specifications. Meet group contact and events manager prior to functions, make introductions and ensure that all arrangements are set to BEO specifications. Prepare banquet setups and AV according to event specifications. Check the function room for cleanliness and proper setup. Ensure replenishment of items as specified on event orders and requested by group contact. Monitor and address guest complaints. Ensure the function room is cleaned and all closing duties are completed. Other duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For: 1+ year of experience in a banquet service role. Leadership experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. Unexpired Alcohol Awareness Certification and Food Handlers Certifications.
