Residential HVAC Sales Manager

HVAC Sales ManagerSky Heating, AC, Plumbing & Electrical is looking for an experienced HVAC Sales Manager to lead and develop our residential HVAC sales team in Portland, OR. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands the home services industry, knows how to coach sales professionals, and can drive both individual and team performance.What You'll DoLead, coach, and develop the HVAC sales team to consistently meet and exceed sales goalsManage daily sales activity, performance, accountability, and resultsTrain and mentor Comfort Advisors and sales professionals on effective sales processes and techniquesMonitor key performance indicators including close rate, average ticket, revenue, lead conversion, and individual sales performanceConduct regular one-on-ones, ride-alongs, coaching sessions, and performance reviewsIdentify opportunities to improve the customer experience and overall sales processWork closely with Service and Operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from sold jobs to productionReview sales opportunities and help team members overcome obstacles and improve closing performanceEstablish clear expectations and hold the sales team accountable for resultsAssist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new sales team membersAnalyze sales reports and trends to identify opportunities for growthMaintain strong relationships with customers and help resolve escalated sales or customer concernsStay current on HVAC products, systems, financing options, and industry trendsHelp develop and implement sales strategies that support company growthPromote a strong team culture focused on customer satisfaction, professionalism, and resultsWhat We're Looking For5+ years of Residential HVAC sales management experience requiredProven experience leading, coaching, and developing a sales teamStrong understanding of residential HVAC systems and replacement salesDemonstrated ability to manage sales KPIs and consistently drive resultsStrong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skillsComfortable holding team members accountable while providing meaningful coaching and supportOrganized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple prioritiesStrong customer service skills and a professional presenceComfortable working in a fast-paced residential home services environmentExperience with CRM and sales management softwareValid driver's license and reliable transportationThis is an opportunity for an experienced sales leader to take ownership of a residential HVAC sales team and make a direct impact on team performance, customer experience, and company growth.
