Registered Nurse Medical Surgical/Tele

Job Summary:

Providing comprehensive medical-surgical care, the Registered Nurse will manage patients across a variety of units including neuro, oncology, and orthopedics. This role requires delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and safety protocols.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient progress, document symptoms, and communicate updates to the healthcare team.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate electronic health records using EPIC EMR system.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid Oregon registered nursing license (or pending licensure with an ETA of 2 weeks).
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting.
  
  
• 
  Current BLS certification; ACLS, NIHSS, and chemo certifications preferred.
  
  
• 
  EPIC EMR experience highly preferred.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work night shifts (3x12-hour nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM).
  
  
• 
  Willingness to float within the health system and work in different units as needed.
