Job Title

Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Travel Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3 x 12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Stepdown/Telemetry unit to a general unit population
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
• Administer and manage cardiac drip infusions as ordered
• Perform and document neurological assessments using NIHSS as required
• Float to additional units as needed based on census and staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Telemetry nursing experience required
• Cardiac drip experience required
• Basic Arrhythmia certification required with a passing score of 85% or higher
• NIHSS certification required (annually)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health record system
• Prior experience in a Stepdown or progressive care unit setting
