Primary Care Physician

Overview Humana’s Primary Care Organization (PCO) is the largest and fastest growing value‑based care, senior‑focused primary care network in the country. The Primary Care Physician (PCP) leads a team‑based care environment, working with doctors, advanced practice professionals, pharmacists, care coach nurses, medical assistants, behavioral health specialists, and other members to deliver personalized, high‑quality care to seniors. Responsibilities Provide outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention. Maintain patient medical history and records. Refer patients to specialists as needed. Influence departmental strategy and make independent decisions on complex clinical issues. Participate in Humana/Senior Bridge’s Tuberculosis (TB) screening program and undergo required TB screening. Provide limited on‑call coverage by phone. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 5 or more years of technical experience. Licensure in the state of jurisdiction. Graduate of accredited MD or DO program. Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine. Preferred Qualifications Experience in primary care team settings. Interest in continuously improving consumer experience. Schedule 40 hours per week Pay Base pay range: $255,000 – $298,500 per year. Compensation may vary by location and individual performance. Eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
