HR Manager

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an HR Manager for their Hillsboro, Oregon location to provide strategic human resources leadership across talent management, organizational development, and employee relations. The role supports the Materials and Structural Analysis Division's R&D operations and requires close collaboration with business leaders on HR initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies for talent attraction, development, engagement, and retention
- Analyze workforce data to generate insights informing strategic decisions and organizational change
- Advise business leaders on HR policies, processes, and program alignment with organizational objectives
- Coordinate complex HR initiatives and lead organizational change and transformation efforts
- Build relationships and collaborate effectively across matrix organization and all stakeholder levels
Requirements
- Advanced degree plus 6 years HR experience, or bachelor's degree plus 8 years progressive HR experience
- Knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and industry best practices
- Experience with performance management, employee relations, compensation, and organizational development
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities with HRIS and HR analytics proficiency
- Professional HR certifications such as SHRM or CIPD preferred
- Proven consulting, coaching, and stakeholder collaboration skills across organizational levels
- Manufacturing or scientific industry experience preferred
