Role Overview Supports the Store Manager in daily store operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. Acts as a temporary leader to develop external candidates for the Store Manager role. Key Responsibilities Assist with recruiting, staffing, and training employees. Participate in merchandising, stocking, and store presentation. Manage inventory, including ordering, damages, markdowns, and conducting inventories. Ensure in-stock levels meet targets and provide excellent customer service. Follow company procedures for cash handling, security, and store safety. Support store opening/closing activities and financial integrity through cash control and deposit procedures. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked environment. Analyze sales, labor, and inventory data to identify trends and control expenses. Complete all required documentation accurately and timely. Qualifications & Skills Ability to interpret operational documents and perform basic math. Knowledge of cash handling, inventory, and merchandising practices. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Problem-solving abilities and adaptability to varied situations. Bilingual skills may be preferred in some locations. Experience & Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Retail experience, particularly one year or more, is advantageous. Competencies: Values alignment, leadership support, collaboration, customer focus, staff development, compliance, and effective communication. Working Conditions: Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 55 pounds, and operating equipment in a fast-paced environment.
