Automotive Airbrush Technician - 2nd Shift

Overview We’re looking for Airbrush Technicians with a minimum of 1 year of professional automotive painting experience to join Carvana, a fast-growing used automotive retailer in the U.S. history and one of the four fastest companies to make the Fortune 500. As an Airbrush Technician, you’ll be expected to color-match, mix paint, and airbrush vehicles . Role Opportunities We have a variety of paint-related roles available, depending on experience: Paint Prepper (min 6 months professional experience): prepare vehicles for cosmetic paintwork, including sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging/tear down, and buffing Entry-Level Painter (min 1 year professional experience): prime vehicles and perform final sanding before painting, plus buffing, touch-up, paint mixing, and airbrush Mid-Level Painter (min 3 years): match/mix paint color and use water-based paint in paint booths Experienced Painter (min 5 years): painting (base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats), blending panels, and paint correcting vehicles Other automotive roles are available at Carvana locations nationwide via the Careers site. General Qualifications and Requirements Ability to operate vehicle equipment and tools; able to lift up to 60 pounds independently Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license; some positions may require a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment and tolerate exposure to weather conditions Use of safety equipment including face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments About Carvana: we sell cars but are not car salesmen. We operate multiple vehicle Reconditioning Centers to inspect, perfect, and photograph cars before they reach the Carvana website. Note: Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
