We're seeking a fulltime skilled and patient-focused Mammography Technologist who is passionate about women's health and dedicated to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive imaging experience.Pay Range: $31.45-$47.17 per hour based on experience and qualificationsAs a Mammographer, you'll serve as a key point of contact for patients while delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a safe and compliant environment.Your responsibilities will include:Performing a variety of mammography procedures with precision and careEnsuring patient safety by minimizing exposure to radiation and other risksAssessing patient needs, comfort level, and ability to tolerate proceduresReviewing physician orders and patient history to determine appropriate imaging protocolsOperating and maintaining mammography and related equipment safely and effectivelyConducting and documenting routine quality control (QC) testingMaintaining accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with policiesProviding compassionate, respectful care to patients and their familiesCommunicating clearly with physicians, radiologists, and care teamsSupporting a collaborative environment across departmentsParticipating in performance improvement and quality initiativesMQSA & Compliance ResponsibilitiesAssist with MQSA inspections and accreditation preparationMaintain documentation for equipment, QC, and personnel recordsEnsure compliance with all MQSA regulations and standardsSupport audit readiness and proper record retentionCollaborate with physicists, radiologists, and compliance teamsStay current with regulatory updates and industry best practicesMinimum Required Education/Experience: Current certification/registration in Mammography by the ARRT is required. A minimum of two years work experience in mammography is preferred.Pre-Employment Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:• Ability to operate general office equipment including computer software applications.• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.• Ability to explain technical terms in a clear and understandable way for a variety of audiences.• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with the public, other agencies, employees and administration.Note: An acceptable combination of education, training and experience that provides the above knowledge, abilities and skills may be substituted.Necessary Special Requirements: Must obtain annual flu vaccination and any job-specific immunizations.
