Truss Assembler

Job Title: Truss Assembler / General Laborer

Shift Schedule:
• 7: 00 AM – 4: 00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Pay Rate:
• $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable Truss Assembler / General Laborer to support production in a manufacturing environment. This role involves assisting in the assembly of roof and floor trusses, performing general labor duties, and supporting material handling operations as needed. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the assembly of wood trusses according to specifications and production guidelines.
• Operate or assist with forklift operations as needed for material movement and staging.
• Read and interpret tape measurements accurately.
• Perform basic math functions to ensure proper cuts, spacing, and assembly accuracy.
• Support general production and cleanup tasks throughout the facility.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area at all times.
• Follow all company safety policies and production standards.

Qualifications:
• Prior construction, manufacturing, or general labor experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and fractions.
• Ability to operate or learn forklift operation (certification a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull materials up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Work Environment:
• Manufacturing and production floor environment.
• Exposure to loud noise, sawdust, and moving equipment.
• Requires standing, bending, lifting, and physical activity for extended periods.
• Fast-paced setting with production deadlines.
• Safety equipment such as steel-toe boots, gloves, and eye protection may be required.
