Experienced Business Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced litigation attorney for its Indianapolis office to join the commercial litigation practice, which includes complex business, real estate, and contract disputes. This role is ideal for a seasoned litigator ready to take ownership of cases, exercise sound judgment under pressure, and contribute to the team's professional growth. Duties Manage assigned litigation matters or major components of larger cases. Draft and review pleadings, motions, and discovery with minimal supervision. Prepare for and handle depositions, hearings, and client communications. Identify issues early and elevate strategically. Collaborate closely with senior attorneys to align strategy and execution. Mentor junior attorneys through example and feedback. Maintain consistent timekeeping and meet productivity expectations. Requirements At least 10 years of civil or commercial litigation experience. Strong written and oral advocacy skills. Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously. Sound professional judgment and emotional steadiness. Experience mentoring or informally leading other lawyers is a plus. Indiana bar admission required. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Admission to the Indiana State Bar.
