Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• Work straight night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Low census call may be required on a rotational basis with rare cancellations
• Floating required inhouse to ED, UC, and PACU as needed, as well as interfacility to Park Falls and Weston
• ICU or Pediatrics experience preferred
• Nurse-to-patient ratios: MS 1:5 days / 1:6 nights, IMC 1:4, ICU 1:2, Pediatrics 1:3-4
• Care for a diverse patient population including cardiac, pulmonary, neuro, GI, GU, orthopedic, sepsis, outpatient, and pediatric cases
• Must be able to titrate drips including Heparin, Insulin, Amiodarone, Cardizem, PCA Fentanyl, Propofol, and Norepinephrine
• Must be able to read rhythm strips and report findings to providers as needed
• Work with respiratory therapy equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, Vapotherm, Servo U ventilators, and Hamilton ventilators
• Charting system: Cerner
• Navy scrubs required for RNs
• Block scheduling utilized when possible
• Orientation includes 1 day of computer-based training and hospital orientation, followed by 1-2 days of on-shift orientation
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS, PALS

This acute care facility operates a 20-bed unit providing comprehensive medical and intensive care services to its surrounding community. The facility supports a wide range of patient populations including medical-surgical, intermediate care, ICU, and pediatric patients. With respiratory therapy available 24/7 and advanced monitoring technology, the organization is well-equipped to handle both routine and complex patient care needs.
