Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified General/Vascular Sonographer to provide mobile ultrasound services at nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other designated locations. The sonographer will travel to patient locations using a company-provided vehicle, perform physician-ordered ultrasound examinations, and transmit diagnostic-quality images to radiologists for interpretation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mobile ultrasound examinations using portable sonographic equipment.
• Travel to assigned healthcare facilities and complete examinations according to the daily schedule.
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and electronically transmit them to radiologists for interpretation.
• Verify physician orders and confirm examination details before performing procedures.
• Confirm patient identity using at least two approved patient identifiers.
• Coordinate with facility staff regarding patient identification, positioning, and necessary assistance.
• Follow established protocols for patient safety, infection control, and medical documentation..

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program.
• Current ARDMS or CCI registration for vascular ultrasound.
• General/Vascular ultrasound candidates must hold at least RVT or RVS certification.

Certification Requirements

• ARDMS or CCI registration, as applicable.
• RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) certification for general/vascular ultrasound.

Schedule Options:

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
