Step into an impactful, full-time opportunity supporting students ages 3–21 in a dynamic school-based setting near Katy, TX. As an Occupational Therapist working exclusively on-site, you’ll serve within a defined zone of 6–7 schools, ensuring your assignments are as close to home as possible, and the district office is available as your home base. Your work will make a difference to students and their families, from conducting comprehensive evaluations to providing targeted interventions and participating in ARD meetings.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapy license in Texas
• Experience supporting pediatric and school-age populations
• Comfort managing a caseload that blends direct services and consult
• Familiarity with school-based documentation systems such as SHARES and Onward, as well as IEP tracking in Excel
• Capable of working independently, as there are no COTAs assigned
• District requires passing a state fingerprint/background check
• Must confirm you have not been a former employee, nor previously terminated by any school district
• Must complete an affidavit regarding district employment and termination history

Essential Responsibilities:

• Serve students across a variety of grade levels, ages 3–21
• Conduct OT evaluations and attend ARD meetings
• Maintain an average caseload of approximately 70, with 30–40 students receiving direct services (rotating schedule)
• Collaborate with staff and families to support student success
• Provide detailed documentation using required district software
