Description - What You'll Do

• Execute routine and comprehensive clinical laboratory assessments across specialty areas including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more while adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and perform necessary maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Meticulously log all procedures, assist in training new staff, and contribute to maintaining the high-quality standards of the lab.
• Uphold a clean, safe workspace while strictly following both regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be received within the first year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification required throughout employment.
