This role leads complex process improvements, mentors engineers, and supports broader operational and capital initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess DevelopmentServe as SME for assigned for Painting ProcessesLead research on new products, processes and methods for Paint processesLead the development and implementation of process advancement initiatives Paint processesData AnalysisMonitor and analyze operational and process data to identify improvementsImplement and utilize process monitoring systems to improve consistency of painting processesProblem SolvingLead complex technical problem-solving initiatives using structured methodsProject ManagementLead large scale, multi-faceted capital projects using good project management practicesLead new product introductions and process changesTeam Collaboration/MentorshipPartner with site leadership to align technical improvements to business needsMentor junior process engineers in process and project leadershipKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesDeep technical expertise in manufacturing processesAdvanced analytical and structured problem-solving capabilityAbility to influence operational decisions using data and process knowledgeAdvanced project management skills using scope, justification, budget and scheduling toolsEffective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholdersAbility and willingness to mentor junior process engineersEducation and ExperienceEducationBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related fieldSix Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferredProject management (PMP or PMO) certificate preferredExperience5-8 years of process engineering experienceMinimum of 5-years of experience with liquid paint application processes3+ years of project management experienceDemonstrated structured problem solvingWork Environment/Travel Requirements Frequent exposure to manufacturing environment.Extended periods of office work on a computer and in team meetings.Regional day travel is expected with this role.Overnight travel requirements will be variable based on projects and business activities, expected up to 10%Physical RequirementsAbility to work in both office and manufacturing environments.#LI-MC1Our BenefitsWe care about and invest in our employees.
