Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele

Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

Shift: 7:30 PM - 7:00 AM Every other weekend and holidays required if needed.

Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:

• Vermont RN License or Compact
• Active American Heart Association BLS
• Active American Heart Association ACLS
• 2 years recent Medical Surgical Rehabilitation experience
• Charge RN experience
• Previous travel experience (at least 3 months)
• EMR: Cerner

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients.
• Participate in patient and family education.
• Provide leadership by cooperating with other nursing and healthcare team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice.
• Float to any unit within scope of practice as needed.

Compliance / Notes:

• Requests for time off (RTO) must be noted and verified at the time of profile upload; no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted.
• Call is required for this position; traveler must be willing to take call.
• A 3-strike rule for call-offs will be enforced.
