We are hiring Senior Fullstack Product Engineers (React, Typescript, Node, GraphQL & MongoDB) to build emerging products and to contribute to efforts to build features used across our Product Platform; applications through this link put you into consideration for the following teams:

• Third Party Risk Management: This product was designed to provide software buyers with tools to evaluate the security of their vendors and partners by inventorying vendors, prioritizing risks, automating security reviews and remediating findings. TPRM or Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) presents a massive opportunity for Vanta - representing a market of $5-$10B in ARR and a CAGR of 10.8% driven by secular tailwinds in the industry that requires more focussed and deeper scrutiny of the company's supply chain.
• Activation: Responsible for rethinking the downmarket audit experience in the AI era. We leverage applied AI to automate and personalize the customer journey — reducing the time and effort it takes for customers to reach their compliance goals. Rather than optimizing for engagement alone, we focus on driving real outcomes: getting customers audit-ready, faster. Our work spans the full stack, requires deep leveraging of AI, and cuts across team and product boundaries. We're looking for engineers who are comfortable operating in a cross-functional, high-ownership environment and can drive impact beyond their immediate scope.
• Monetization: This team is building an enterprise-grade revenue and entitlement platform to drive Vanta's upmarket expansion while streamlining the self-serve experience for all customers. You will tackle complex distributed systems challenges to build highly reliable infrastructure and core checkout flows that integrate with Salesforce, Ironclad, NetSuite, Stripe, and Metronome. Beyond standard billing, you will establish unified entitlements, unlock trial features, and build usage-based billing pipelines. By partnering with the Expansion team on checkout and account management, your work will expand our pricing and packaging capabilities and directly accelerate Vanta's growth.
• Expansion: This team focuses on the full post-activation lifecycle—driving retention, expansion, and revenue automation across the product. You'll build the core experiences that power enabling and managing trials, and renewal for existing clients. This includes self-serve upgrade paths, and intuitive renewal pages, as well as integrating with our checkout flow. You will help enable customer purchasing and trial experiences. You'll also develop the platform that enables "try before you buy" experiences across Vanta, giving prospects hands-on access and empowering other product teams to plug into a unified trials framework.
• Collaboration: On the Collaboration team, you will contribute to building components and APIs that make it more efficient for Vanta users to complete GRC and Trust management tasks. We believe in building these components and APIs in a way that makes them easy to adopt by other engineering teams within Vanta.

What you'll do as a Senior Software Engineer at Vanta:

• Lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders and engineers to accelerate our roadmap and land impact faster.
• Collaborate with other teams and engineers across Vanta on cross-cutting engineering initiatives or on building common product primitives.
• Mentor engineers up to your own level; assigning them tasks and helping them develop their skills over the course of each project.
• Make effective tradeoffs that consider business priorities, user experience, and a sustainable technical foundation.

How to be successful in this role:

• 5+ years of full stack experience with an emphasis on backend skills.
• Experience leading small teams of engineers to deliver impactful projects.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience building user-facing SaaS products over multiple years, ideally both for startups and enterprise users.
• Experience building 0→1 products as well as solving tough engineering problems- especially in environments that prioritize bias for action.
• Experience with TypeScript is a plus- our stack is React, TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL & MongoDB.
• Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work - demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.
