Our two-year rotational program will provide you with experiences and resources to set you up for an exciting and successful career in accounting or finance!Our Impact:Finance is an internal support organization that is instrumental in helping Freddie Mac achieve strategic objectives critical to establishing itself as a marketplace leader.We support our various divisions by understanding their business needs and assisting them with the analysis and data needed to make the best decisions. As an analyst in our program, you will have the opportunity to experience our impact firsthand as you participate in each of your rotations.Your Impact:Support accounting activities related to "closing the books" and producing accurate GAAP financial statements.Develop your business understanding by reporting on and analyzing data.Assist in preparing unbiased financial reports on business performance for internal management.Gain an understanding of specialized areas of the Finance Division and related areas of the company.Solve complex business problems and find viable solutions.Demonstrate strong listening, learning, speaking, and writing skills while proactively building business knowledge and presenting work clearly to internal stakeholders.Work collaboratively with your colleagues to execute projects, share knowledge and build relationships with a team comprised of individuals with diverse talents, backgrounds, experience, and skills.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related fieldAvailability to begin full time employment in our January 2027 or June 2027 cohortsGraduation no more than 18 months prior to the applicable start date: July 2025 or later for January 2027 cohort; December 2025 or later for June 2027 cohortDemonstrated interest in learning the Finance business and building a career within the industryAvailability for occasional work beyond core business hours or weekends as neededKeys to Success in this Role:Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and organizational skillsPrevious accounting or finance related internships strongly preferredKnowledge of GAAP, secondary mortgage markets, and fixed income/derivative and mortgage securities (preferred, but not required)Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong Microsoft Office skillsExperience with or willingness to learn AI tools, including chatbot systems such as FredAI, to support productivity and business problem solvingSelf-driven, curious, and eager to learn with a strong work ethic and commitment to contributing to the Finance DivisionThis program is a two-year full-time rotational program designed to provide analysts with the opportunity to gain unique experience working across a broad spectrum of Freddie Mac's Finance business areas.The key focus is to develop future professionals by providing real-world training experiences. Analysts will get a chance to learn, be mentored by, and work alongside best-in-class professionals to support our mission of Making Home Possible. Information on these benefit programs is available on our Careers site.This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $63,000 - $95,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
