Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,419 per week

First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Peoria, Illinois. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Trauma Level: Level 1 Department: ER (65 beds) Shift: 12-hour shifts; day, mid, or night shift (no rotating shifts) Scheduling: Block scheduling allowed when possible; travelers are scheduled by the scheduling manager. Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Holiday Requirement: Required; negotiable based on contract requests and department needs. Patient Ratio: 1:3–5, depending on acuity. Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ENPC or PALS, and TNCC or TNS. Experience: At least 2 years preferred and 1 prior travel assignment preferred. Clinical Skills: Must be comfortable with critical patients, trauma, cardiac emergencies, strokes, and titrating vasopressor and cardiac drips. Charge Nurse: Two charge nurses per shift; they do not routinely take patient assignments. Call: No call requirement. Floating: May rarely float to other units as a help-all nurse, not to take a patient team. Other Preferences: SANE RN experience and teaching-hospital experience preferred. Scrubs: No specific color required; solid-colored undershirts.
