Public Health Nurse Supervisor - Clinic - $84K - $100K

Kenosha County Public Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Public Health Nurse Supervisor–Clinic to lead our Clinical Services Team. About the Role Reporting to the Clinical Services Manager, this working supervisor position combines leadership responsibilities with direct patient care. You will oversee a team of Registered Nurses and Medical Assistants while ensuring the delivery of ethical, high‑quality clinical services in a community health setting. Our clinic provides preventive and primary public health services, including immunizations, STI screening, reproductive and family planning services, blood pressure and lead testing, drug/alcohol screening, and support for our Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management Supervise, coach, and support clinical staff, including scheduling, performance management, and team development Foster a positive, engaged, and accountable team environment Conduct regular staff meetings, supervision sessions, and annual evaluations Lead onboarding and ongoing workforce development initiatives Program Oversight & Administration Develop and implement policies, procedures, and strategic plans aligned with departmental goals Monitor program performance, budgets, and grant objectives Prepare reports and collaborate on grant writing and contract management Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards Clinical Services (Direct Care) Provide patient‑centered care, including assessments, screenings, and education Deliver reproductive and sexual health services, including contraceptive counseling and STI testing Administer vaccines following CDC/ACIP guidelines and manage vaccine inventory Respond to adverse reactions and maintain accurate clinical documentation Deliver culturally competent, trauma‑informed care to diverse populations Community & Public Health Engagement Support community outreach programs, events, and health initiatives Participate in community health assessments and improvement planning (CHIP) Use data to evaluate programs, improve outcomes, and guide decision‑making Assist with emergency preparedness and outbreak response efforts Qualifications Required Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license 3–5 years of nursing experience Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish) preferred.
