Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 39-bed Medical Surgical unit serving adult and geriatric populations
• Manage and treat common diagnoses including fractures, COPD, hypertension, chest pain, CHF, and infectious conditions
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using the Paragon EHR system
• Fulfill weekend float requirements as part of the unit's staffing model
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams within a Joint Commission Accredited facility that includes a Chest Pain Center

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
• Experience in Medical Surgical nursing
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Willingness to fulfill weekend float requirements
• No on-call requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with the Paragon EHR system
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Familiarity with conditions such as COPD, CHF, hypertension, and chest pain management
