Quality Assurance Nurse

Alliance Health Group – The Quality Assurance (QA) nurse will ensure the facilities provide safe, high‑quality patient care by monitoring clinical documentation. They will audit medical records, track quality metrics, and provide feedback for team leaders to enforce policies to maintain regulatory compliance. Their ultimate goal is reducing medical errors and improving patient outcomes. Core Responsibilities Clinical Auditing: Review patient charts and medical records to verify accurate documentation and adherence to evidence‑based care protocols. Compliance Monitoring: Ensure facility operations meet local, state, and federal healthcare standards. Data Analysis: Identify trends in adverse events, patient readmissions, falls, or infection rates to target areas needing improvement. Staff Education: Develop and lead training sessions to educate nursing personnel on new procedures, regulatory updates, and best practices. Quality Improvement (QAPI): Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement meetings, helping design action plans to resolve clinical gaps. Key Qualifications Licensing: Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment. Clinical Experience: Typically 2–5 years of clinical nursing experience, often with specialized knowledge in the long‑term care setting. Technical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing data and navigating Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or PointClickCare.
