Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic II to support commercial and industrial HVAC/Refrigeration systems within a manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of HVAC/R equipment supporting manufacturing, laboratory, and office operations.

 

Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC/R systems and equipment
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on chillers, boilers, pumps, compressors, air handlers, fans, valves, and refrigeration equipment
• Diagnose mechanical and control system issues
• Install and replace motors, bearings, belts, seals, gaskets, and related components
• Perform brazing and soldering on refrigeration and cooling systems
• Utilize CMMS systems to document maintenance activities
• Order replacement parts and materials as needed
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and environmental requirements
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and equipment reliability programs

 

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years of commercial or industrial HVAC/Refrigeration maintenance experience
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
• Experience with HVAC controls and refrigeration systems
• Ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment
• EPA Certification preferred
• CMMS and SAP experience preferred
• Purchasing experience is a plus
