Become a Hospice Companion Volunteer

Cape Fear Valley Hospice

Our Hospice Agency is seeking compassionate volunteers to provide friendly visits and companionship to patients living in local nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Sometimes the greatest gift you can offer is simply your presence- sharing conversation, listening to stories, reading aloud, playing games, or just sitting quietly with someone who could use a caring connection.

As a hospice companion volunteer, you have the opportunity to bring comfort, dignity, and human connection during one of life's most important journeys.

No medical experience is needed- just a kind heart and a willingness to make a difference.

We provide training, guidance, and flexible scheduling to fit your availability.

If you're ready to make every moment matter, we would love to welcome you to out volunteer team!
