Job Description

Are you an ACNP or PA-C with Trauma/Surgical experience seeking a non-surgical position in the Coachella California area? We have five positions available in Palm Springs, CA and we are hiring now!! We offer relocation assistance!! Please see below for details!!

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Trauma Non-Surgical ACNP or PA-C to join a high-performing multidisciplinary trauma service dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment.

What makes this position so unique: self scheduling, new program, team environment and FREE MEALS!!

Schedule: 3x 12-hour shifts; Days and nights with self scheduling! NO CALL!!

Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for trauma patients
Manage non-surgical trauma admissions, consultations, and follow-up care
Coordinate care with trauma surgeons, intensivists, nursing staff, and ancillary services
Order and interpret diagnostic studies
Perform procedures within scope of practice
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and discharge planning
Provide patient and family education

Qualifications:

Current certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C)
Active state licensure or eligibility
Trauma, acute care, emergency medicine, or critical care experience preferred
Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
ATLS certification preferred
