Physician Assistant - Interventional Radiology

Job Summary Summit Health is seeking a licensed Physician Assistant (PA) to work collaboratively with a team of two Interventional Radiologists and one IR Physician Assistant. The position is located in a well‑equipped, freestanding Interventional Radiology facility, with duties split between outpatient and hospital settings. No night or weekend calls are required. Responsibilities Assist with all interventional radiology procedures as directed by the IR team. Perform injection, exchange, and removal of drainage catheters (GU and GI drains). Conduct imaging‑guided thoracentesis and paracentesis. Place and remove vascular access lines, including PICCs, ports, and tunneled lines. Perform arthrocentesis and joint injections under imaging guidance. See new consults in clinic and hospital settings; schedule follow‑up as necessary. Qualifications Physician Assistant degree required. New Jersey PA license required. 1‑year Interventional Radiology experience required; 2‑4 years preferred. BLS/ACLS certification required. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to handle diverse work assignments and make decisions under time constraints with a high degree of accuracy. Benefits & Compensation Compensation Range: $116,000 – $145,000, based on experience and performance. Competitive compensation package.
