Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekdays with some weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown / Immediate Care Unit setting with varying acuity levels
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4, with flexibility to 1:5 during emergencies
• Perform IV insertions and continuous telemetry monitoring, including rhythm strip interpretation
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to manage Progressive Care and Telemetry-level patients

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in West Virginia or a Compact state (pending license accepted at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience overall; at least 1 year in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry and 2 years in a Stepdown setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Proficiency in IV insertion and telemetry monitoring, including ability to read rhythm strips
• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility (candidates 75–100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience is a plus but not required
• Familiarity with Progressive Care or higher-acuity Telemetry patient populations
• Availability for weekend block scheduling (Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Monday)
