POSITION: OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

OBJECTIVE:

Your primary responsibility is to be a Metal Supermarkets ambassador.  Through prospecting you will establish, develop and maintain strong customer relations and address the service needs of Metal Supermarkets’ customers.  

If you’re customer focused, passionate about service and customer satisfaction, have a positive attitude, solutions driven and motivated to learn, we can teach you the rest.

Your people skills make customers feel welcome, validated and well-served, satisfied knowing their experience with Metal Supermarkets is/will be a positive one.

You are adaptable, resourceful and supportive, consulting with wide range of industry professionals that includes trades and do-it-your-selfers, assisting in their material needs and working to find solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

·       Building sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication

·       Recognizing business development opportunities to generate sales leads and new customers

·       Relationship management, including revisiting dormant customers and following-up with new customers

·       Supporting the achievement of sales/budget targets, which includes attention to maintaining stock control and gross margins while managing cost budgets

·       Providing consistent, superior customer service; ensuring all customer needs and requests are identified and addressed while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction at all times

QUALIFICATIONS:

·       Minimum one year of proven outside sales experience

·       Prospecting and business development skills

·       Clear communication and effective listening skills

·       Exception telephone skills and etiquette

·       Fluent in written and spoken English

·       Strong closing skills

·       Strong math skills, mathematically inclined

WORKING @ METAL SUPERMARKETS:

POSITION:  Permanent Full Time                   

HOURS:  Regular business hours Monday to Friday
