Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Minimum 1 year home health experience
• Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of Washington or compact license granting privilege to practice in the state
• Current CPR certification
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle

Assignment Details

• 40 hours per week
• Shift hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Monday through Friday
• No on-call requirement
• Weekend rotation required
• Coverage area includes King County and Snohomish County
• May be required to float to other nearby home health agencies as needed
• Mileage is reimbursed between visits, from first patient to last patient

Location Highlights

Mountlake Terrace offers convenient access to both urban amenities and outdoor recreation. The city is about 15 miles north of downtown Seattle and is served by the Mountlake Terrace Transit Center, providing regional bus connections for commuters. Lake Ballinger Park offers walking trails and waterfront views within the city, while Meadowdale Beach Park is about 6 miles away and provides access to Puget Sound shoreline. For day trips, Richmond Beach Saltwater Park is roughly 10 miles south and the Cascade foothills are reachable within about 45 miles, making the area a fit for travelers who enjoy both city access and weekend outdoor options.
