Forensic Accountant - Senior Associate

We are seeking a forensic accounting senior associate to contribute innovative problem-solving abilities to our team of passionate, forward-thinking professionals. This individual will work closely with attorneys and legal professionals to analyze financial data and support complex litigation and valuation matters. Responsibilities Review financial data to identify inaccuracies and trace discrepancies Perform penetrative forensic analyses of historical financial information Prepare independent expert reports for complex litigation and valuation matters Review revenue and expense projections Assess losses and potential damage awards Work closely with attorneys, judges, and other legal professionals Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field 3+ years of prior experience working in a forensic accounting firm, a forensic practice in a large firm, or an audit practice in a mid-to-large-sized accounting firm (required) Preferred Qualifications CPA (strongly preferred) CFE or CFF (preferred) Skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited direction and/or guidance An advanced knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet tools Creative approach to problem solving Mature analytical ability Ability to organize workload and appropriately prioritize tasks to meet crucial deadlines and work objectives About Us MSG specializes in business valuation and forensic accounting.
