Responsibilities include developing project budgets, conducting scenario modeling, preparing funding approval documentation, and delivering monthly forecast analyses. The role requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders in a matrixed environment to provide analytical expertise for effective project and portfolio management.Job Duties/Responsibilities: Support project development by establishing cost baselines, creating forecasting models, analyzing accrual versus spend, and contributing to deliverables for stage gate and funding approvals.Understands contracting structures (lump sum, fixed prices, T&M, etc) and commercial agreements. Ensures forecast aligns with the project schedule utilizing milestones. Identifies cost risks and opportunities through the project development life cycle. Provides clear insight into contingency allocation.Utilizes COGNOS, POWER BI, Maximo, and Power Plan to perform monthly forensic cost analyses, interpret the output and develop presentations from the data set (where applicable).Demonstrates very good documentation, technical writing, and organization skills to effectively control documents availability and readiness for ROD requirements, prudency review, deposition hearings, filing for PSC, Change Order Process and or other legal requirements. Displays a solid understanding of Document Mgmt. Demonstrate commitment to safety through active participation in safety meetings, safety inspections and field observations where applicable.Minimum Requirements:Minimum education required of the position: B.S. in Finance, Accounting, Project Management, Construction Management or applicable course of study or equivalent work experience.Minimum experience required of the position: Analyst II: 2+ years renewables project or utility project experienceAnalyst III: 4-6 years of renewables proje experience or 3+years utility project experience.Analyst, Sr.: At least 6 years of renewables project or utility project experience Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position:Capital Project development and execution cost analysis experience with an owner or contractor.Understanding of commercial agreements and contracting strategiesAnalytical skill set with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Proficiency in ERP (Cognos, JDE, SAP etc), Power BI, Maximo, Power Plan, cost/forecasting tools (Ecosys, Oracle, Cura, etc)Understanding of cost, schedule and risk alignmentDesired:Knowledge of Entergy financial and accounting systems and processesWorking knowledge of the regulatory agencies for which the projects will be governed.
