This role plays a critical part in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization by ensuring that all payable transactions are recorded correctly and in compliance with company policies and procedures.ResponsibilitiesInvoice Processing:Receive and review vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies.Verify the appropriate approvals and supporting documentation are in place for all invoices.Enter invoice details into the accounting system accurately and in a timely manner.Resolve discrepancies or issues with invoices, communicating with vendors and internal stakeholders as necessary.Follows up on recurring invoices not received by month endPayment Processing:Assist in weekly payment run file preparationPrint, scans and mails checks as part of the weekly payment runExpense Report Processing:Review employee expense reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.Verify appropriate approvals and supporting documentation for all expense reports.Vendor Management:Ensure vendor accounts are accurately set up and maintained in the accounting system.Ensuring that all proper documentation is received and verified.Maintain effective relationships with vendors, addressing any inquiries or issues related to billing and payments.Compliance and ReportingAdhere to all relevant accounting principles, policies, and procedures.Assist in audit documentation, month-end, and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.Prepare reports and analyses for subsidiary activities as required, providing accurate and timely information to management.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or other related area or an equivalent combination of education and experienceFamiliarity in using accounting software, MS Office, specifically Excel, and other relevant toolsPossess analytical and problem-solving skillsWell organized to prioritize tasks and meet deadlinesAttention to detail and accuracyStrong written and verbal communication skillsCustomer-centric mindset with a focus on providing exceptional customer serviceDesired:Prior experience in accounting or similarKnowledge of accounts payable processes and principlesEnterprise accounting system experience, specifically NetSuiteKnowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirementsEnterprise expense management system experience, ConcurnCino retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position as business operations require.
