RN - Cath Lab

Shift: 4x10 07:30 - 18:00. Some early shift of 06:30 - 17:00 (or until the structural heart is completed). Clinicians will have one of the 4 days designated as a late shift (meaning they complete the last patient of the day). Call: 1 night a week. Float Requirement: As needed. Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend every other month.

Skills: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab; Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab; Cardiac Stent Placement; Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult; IABP Placement/Removal; Impella insertion; Interventional Catheterizations; Left heart catheterization; Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI); Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring; Right heart catheterization; Rotablator atherectomy; Scrub Procedures (Cardiac Cath Lab); Antiarrhythmics; Antihypertensives; Emergency Medications; IV vasopressors; Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring; Reversal agents; Thrombolytics; IV infusion pumps; Starting and maintaining IVs; Activated Clotting Time (ACT); Cardioversion; Circulate Procedures; End-Tidal CO2 monitoring; Infection Prevention; Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias; Isolation Precautions/PPE; Monitoring Procedural Sedation; Sheath Removal/Monitoring; Topical Hemostasis (D-Stat, Chito-Seal, Syvek Patch). Certs: ACLS; BLS.

Preferred Skills/Certs/Exp: Pre Post Procedure; Special Procedures; ASD Closures; Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR); Valvuloplasty; Watchman procedure; Angioplasty; Carotid Stenting; Central Venous Access - Non-tunneled/PICC placement; Central Venous Access/Port Placement; Dialysis Graft Creation/Revision; Dialysis Graft Interventional; Endovascular Interventions; Scrub Procedures (Vascular); Stent Graft Placement; SVC/IVC Venograph; Thoracic Aortography; Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography; External Compression Devices (C-Clamp, Sandbags); Hypothermia protocol; Laser-assisted procedure; Malignant Hyperthermia Protocol; Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG; Radiation and Laser Safety; Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose).

Unit Systems: Pyxis, MAC LAB, CUPID, EPIC, SBAR.

Scheduling Type: Self. Unit Orientation: 24 hours. Scrubs: Provided.
