Aircraft Component Repair Technician Entry Level

Schedule Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm, overtime as required and approved Summary Entry Level Technician Position - Responsible for performing skilled tasks in the service, maintenance, and repair of airplane wheels and braking systems, by performing the following duties: Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Deflate tires. * Responsible for breaking torque and bead of tires. * Removes bearings and related hardware including bolts, washers, and nuts. * Cleans hardware and wheels in an aqueous or solvent based machine. * Removes paint occasionally with a dry system such as bead blast. * Operates heavy-duty hydraulic jacks and other equipment to perform wheel maintenance functions. * Assists other departments when necessary. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
