Venture Capital - Graduate Internship Summer 2027

OVERVIEW:

Prosperity7 Ventures (P7) is the $3bn+ diversified venture fund of Aramco Ventures, backing transformative technology companies across AI, deeptech, and enterprise software globally. Our scale, patient capital, and access to strategic partnerships across the Aramco ecosystem put us in the room for the most competitive deals in the market.

The Summer Intern supports deal execution, market analysis, and competitor analysis for Prosperity7 Ventures in North America, working closely with the global Prosperity7 and Aramco Ventures (AV) team across the full investment lifecycle, from origination through portfolio management.

SCOPE:

Focused on execution of investments within the P7 mandate in North America.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

• Thesis (50%)
  • Research and build a robust thesis in relevant areas for P7
  • The thesis should be tied into understanding new technology and where it is headed, and why it would be a good area for P7 to investment
  • This would be a capstone deliverable
• Investment Execution (20%)
  • Build and maintain investment theses under supervision
  • Support due diligence with senior deal team members: market, competitor, technology, and IP landscaping, financial modeling, data room reviews, management interviews, reference calls, and diligence tracking
  • Draft investment memorandum and presentations for all stage gates leading to an investment
• Portfolio Management (20%)
  • Research and analyze follow-on investment, exit, and shareholder action recommendations
  • Draft memoranda and presentations to Investment Committee for follow-ons and exits
• Reporting & Communication (5%)
  • Report portfolio company performance to regional and HQ management
  • Maintain transaction documents to audit standards per the P7 investment handbook
• Origination (5%)
  • Screen and prioritize opportunities based on quality, strategic fit, and economic soundness
  • Maintain the deal flow database and pipeline

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, sciences, management, economics, or finance from a reputable university
• MBA from a tier 1 program
• At least two years of experience in venture capital, corporate venture capital, corporate development, consulting, investment banking, or private equity
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Able to evaluate technologies and value propositions
• Working knowledge of market and competitive strategy, technology commercialization, intellectual property, financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, and governance
• Able to run market, industry, and competitive landscape analysis and prepare investment materials
• Organized and detail-oriented, with minimal senior supervision: tracks portfolio metrics, maintains pipelines, and manages documentation
• International experience a plus
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication in English
