Role Description The Project Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Essington, PA, responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of physical security and infrastructure projects. This role will assist project managers with scheduling, resource coordination, and documentation to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with client requirements. Day-to-day tasks include communicating with internal teams and external stakeholders, tracking project milestones, preparing status reports, and maintaining accurate records in project management tools. The Project Specialist will help coordinate site visits, support the preparation of proposals and change orders, and respond to client inquiries with a focus on clarity and professionalism. The role also involves collaborating with sales, operations, and technical teams to resolve issues, manage priorities, and contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery processes.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Demonstrated Project Management abilities, including organizing tasks, tracking timelines, and supporting cross-functional coordination.
- Analytical Skills to interpret project data, identify risks or issues, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Sales awareness or experience supporting sales efforts, including assisting with proposals, estimates, and customer follow-up.
- Proficiency with project management and office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, project tracking software, collaboration platforms).
- Ability to work on-site in Essington, PA, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- Experience in physical security, access control, video surveillance, low-voltage infrastructure, or related technical fields is a plus.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, project management, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
