Description Certified Medication Aide Location: Oakleaf Village Columbus Job Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21/hour plus shift differential Make a Difference - And Own Your Future Wallick Communities is a 100% employee-owned company dedicated to affordable housing and assisted living. What You'll Do Administer medications, as prescribed, and under the direction of a licensed nurse Promptly report to the nurse a resident's request/need for PRN medications Promptly report to the nurse any adverse or concerning reactions to medications Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents Communicate effectively with residents, staff management, and families Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures Provides physical resident care to include all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming Answers call lights in a timely manner and responds accordingly to the resident's needs Assists in maintaining acceptable nutrition for residents and documents meal intake as prescribed Knows proper technique for first aid Completes documentation of medication administration Assists in maintaining a therapeutic environment for the residents Motivates and encourages resident involvement in activities Assists residents to and from activities Lifting, turning, and re-positioning residents as needed Any other duties as assigned or delegated by the Director of Care or Designee What We're Looking For Current valid Medication Aide Certificate authorized by the Ohio Board of Nursing CPR Certified Nurse Aide Certification Benefits $21/hour plus shift differential Pay-on-demand access to earnings Health, dental, and vision insurance effective within 2 weeks of starting Paid time off, including paid parental leave Gym membership reimbursement 401(k) plan Tuition reimbursement, training, professional development, and advancement opportunities Employee-owned company sharing in profitability Wallick does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, gender identity, and sexual orientation), parental status, national origin, age, disability, genetic information (including family medical history), political affiliation, military service, or other non-merit-based factors.
