Laborer

Laborer/Operator Peninsula Sanitation, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a Laborer/Operator to join the team at our transfer station in Ilwaco, WA! Monday through Saturday 8am-5pm. The pay for this position is $21.82 - $24.50/hour, depending on experience. Duties And Responsibilities Manual labor including paper picking and keeping site clean and presentable. Some forklift/backhoe operating experience is preferred Traffic management. Must have good customer service skills Perform yard work including cutting weeds. Perform general office maintenance and repairs including painting and janitorial work. Working outside in all weather conditions. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Working Conditions And Physical Effort Work involves constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, bio hazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds. Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
