Cloud Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Cloud Engineer for their Telecommunications client to support the migration of its consumer email platform from legacy on-premises data centers to a modern AWS-based environment. This role will focus on building, validating, and supporting cloud infrastructure and automation using Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and AWS services, while adhering to strict Infrastructure-as-Code and pipeline-driven deployment standards.

Skills and Requirements

4+ years of hands-on AWS engineering experience in enterprise environments.
Strong Terraform experience and commitment to Infrastructure-as-Code best practices.
Experience with GitLab CI/CD or comparable pipeline automation platforms.
Strong Python development skills.
Experience working with cloud infrastructure, automation, deployment pipelines, and production support.
Ability to work from existing architecture, specifications, and codebases with minimal oversight.
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration skills.
