Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, data-driven Planner to align customer demand, material availability, and production capacity to drive on-time delivery and support revenue goals. This role plays a critical part in optimizing inventory, improving planning accuracy, and ensuring efficient execution across operations.

The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and comfortable working cross-functionally to identify risks, resolve constraints, and drive results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage production and material plans using ERP (Infor CloudSuite Industrial – CSI), APS, and MRP systems

  • Analyze demand, capacity, and material availability to build executable production schedules

  • Proactively pull in orders by identifying opportunities to advance production through material alignment, capacity availability, and schedule optimization to support revenue goals

  • Identify and mitigate risks such as material shortages and capacity constraints to maintain on-time delivery and revenue targets

  • Perform Capability to Promise (CTP) reviews to support Customer Service with accurate delivery commitments

  • Review Purchase Order (PO) status and late projections, partnering with Purchasing to resolve supplier risks and drive mitigation actions

  • Manage and optimize inventory, including unallocated inventory alignment, conversions, and safety stock levels

  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards using Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and Power BI (preferred) to support data-driven decision-making

  • Collaborate with Planning, Operations, Purchasing, and Customer Service to drive alignment and execution

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field related to supply chain, operations, manufacturing, or data analysis preferred; equivalent experience will be considered

  • Proven track record (5+ years preferred) in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment

  • Experience using ERP systems and APS/MRP planning tools; experience with Infor CloudSuite Industrial (CSI) preferred

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable decisions

  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas (INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP), and data analysis, with the ability to develop clear, effective visualizations (charts and dashboards) to communicate performance, risks, and opportunities; experience with macros and automated report development preferred

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex planning data, risks, and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
