Radiology CT Tech/UKHC

Job Summary This CT Technologist is located at the Good Samaritan Campus. The role involves providing CT imaging for patients, assisting physicians in expediting care, and ensuring quality, efficiency, and service excellence. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, providing feedback on images for improvement, addressing customer needs, and maintaining patient efficiency and confidentiality in line with UK HealthCare Values. Required License/Registration/Certification American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and Kentucky State Radiation Operators license at hire, Basic Life Support certification within 90 days, CT certification within one year. Physical Requirements Regularly lifting, pushing, or pulling objects up to > 50 pounds; standing or walking with objects up to 25 pounds; working in confined spaces; occasionally sitting at a computer workstation. The position involves risk from moving patients, equipment, or exposure to radiation, burns, cuts, bloodborne or airborne pathogens, recombinant DNA or viral vectors, and combative individuals. Shift Thursday/Friday 7a‑7:30p, every other weekend 6:30a‑7p (equivalent to 3 12’s, 0.9 FTE). Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Excellent patient care skills and technical/CT knowledge.
