Associated Terminals - Convent - Administration Convent, LA 70723, USA Description ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Develop and manage budgets for multiple parts of the organization Lead invoicing analysis team Advise leadership of the company on financial analysis results Minimize company demurrage exposure by managing and fully understanding vessel laytimes Manages company account receivable process Compares and analyzes actual results with plans and forecasts Creates financial analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques and recommending actions Reconciles and audits accounts as assigned Develops, supports, and maintains analysis tools for use in business applications Provides financial modeling, financial analysis and valuation support for business projects Creates monthly financial analysis reports for review by business leadership Generate ad-hoc reporting on operational or financial performance Perform other duties as required

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years’ experience in the Finance and Accounting Industry preferred

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration or related field Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Finance, Economics, or Accounting preferred

SKILL/ KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Professional office environment; occasionally employee will be required to visit field operations for analysis purposes.
