Job Summary
The RN Manager (Nurse Manager) position for the Cath Lab and ICU is based in GARDEN CITY, Kansas. This role involves overseeing both departments within an acute care setting, managing daily operations, and ensuring high-quality patient care. Candidates are required to bring their registered nursing license on the first day. The position offers a leadership opportunity in a dynamic hospital environment.

Job Details

• Location: GARDEN CITY, Kansas
• Schedule: Days shift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 37.5 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, 3 years of RN experience, 1 year of management experience, 1 year of clinical leadership experience, active certifications including ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI, and TNCC. Additional clinical skills include critical care/telemetry, fluoro license for technical staff, and competency in titrating drips such as vasoactive drugs and blood products.
• Additional Information: The position involves overseeing both the Cath Lab and ICU departments, managing patient care for cardiac, vascular, and respiratory diagnoses including sepsis, DKA, and acute coronary syndromes. The role may require float support for other departments, on-call responsibilities after hours and weekends, as well as participation in unit-specific orientation. The hospital allows self-scheduling and provides support for elective cases Monday through Friday from 0800 to 1600. The hospital may cancel up to four shifts per 13-week assignment. The charting system used is EPIC.
