Primary Care Physician Opportunity

Novant Health is seeking a Primary Care Physician (Family Med or Internal Med) for an exciting new opportunity located in Sherrills Ford, NC. We're excited to announce that we will be expanding our remarkable primary care services to the Lake Norman community! If you are interested in a PCP opportunity in a brand new office, this could be the perfect match for you and we invite you to apply to speak with our team.

This new location will open in late 2026 with a team of one physician, one APP, and a top tier staff with additional support from Novant Health leadership. Additional providers will be added as we get established. The office will be open Monday-Friday from 8:00-5:00 with minimal call duties.

For our primary care providers:

• Access is a key theme Novant Health encourages same day, extended hours, e-visits and video visits to deliver care where and when our patients need us.
• All of our community medicine physician leaders maintain a patient panel to remain connected to the day-to-day challenges and joys of practicing medicine.
• Many of our clinics utilize a team approach to care, which includes PAs, NPs, clinical pharmacy practitioners, health behaviorists and clinical RNs.

What We're Looking For:

• Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program required

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Current MD or DO license in North Carolina
• Board certification or eligibility
• Current DEA license required
