HCTC is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to lead the day-to-day strategy, execution, and optimization of our digital marketing channels and customer experiences.

This is a manager-level individual contributor role with significant ownership of HCTC's digital marketing ecosystem. The Digital Marketing Manager will manage our website, organic social media, search optimization, email and messaging campaigns, marketing automation, analytics, and digital customer journeys. Working closely with Marketing, Sales, Customer Experience, Information Technology, Business Intelligence, and external partners, this position will use data and customer insights to improve engagement, generate qualified leads, increase conversion, and strengthen long-term customer relationships.

What You'll Do

• Manage HCTC's digital marketing ecosystem, including the website, organic social media, email, SMS/MMS, push notifications, marketing automation, analytics, and related digital platforms.
• Own website strategy, content performance, user experience, conversion paths, and ongoing optimization.
• Develop and execute SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies to strengthen HCTC's visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven search experiences.
• Use approved AI-driven tools and content optimization techniques to improve discoverability, content quality, efficiency, and customer engagement.
• Manage organic social media execution, content coordination, community engagement, and performance measurement.
• Develop targeted email, text, and digital communications supporting customer acquisition, onboarding, upgrades, retention, and win-back initiatives.
• Develop and improve digital customer journeys that reduce friction, encourage self-service, and increase engagement and conversion.
• Use customer segmentation and personalization to reach residential, small business, enterprise, and other key audiences with relevant communications.
• Translate telecommunications products and services into clear, compelling digital messaging.
• Analyze website, search, social media, email, and customer engagement performance and turn data into actionable recommendations.
• Establish digital KPIs and develop dashboards and reporting for engagement, lead generation, conversion, product adoption, customer journeys, and return on digital initiatives.
• Conduct A/B and multivariate testing to improve messaging, calls to action, landing pages, forms, and digital experiences.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring marketing and customer communication processes using platform integrations, workflow enhancements, and AI tools.
• Stay current on emerging digital marketing, AI, search, analytics, automation, and customer engagement trends.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Information Systems, Business, Analytics, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and professional experience will be considered.
• Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in digital marketing, digital technology, website management, marketing automation, digital analytics, customer engagement, or related functions.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple digital channels and using performance data to improve engagement, conversion, and business results.
• Strong knowledge of website management, digital user experience, conversion optimization, and customer journeys.
• Working knowledge of SEO, GEO, structured content, and AI-driven content discovery.
• Experience with email marketing, SMS/MMS, customer segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and marketing automation.
• Experience with digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics 4 or equivalent tools.
• Ability to develop dashboards, interpret performance data, and translate findings into clear business recommendations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project-management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience implementing or managing AI tools in a digital marketing environment is preferred.
• Telecommunications, broadband, technology, utility, cooperative, subscription-based service, or similar customer lifecycle experience is a plus.
