The Animal Pad
The Animal Pad always needs Transporters who are comfortable handling and transporting dogs to and from wherever they need to be within San Diego! The majority of our transport needs center around making sure our foster dogs can get to all of their vetting appointments (primarily at our own HQ/care facility, sometimes outside veterinary offices for surgeries) and adoption events that their foster is unable to bring them to. We are also sometimes in need of supply drops to our fosters as well as pick-ups, although this is much less frequent. Transporting is often overlooked because it doesn't seem quite as "glamorous" as adoption events, but having that quality, one-on-one time with the dogs and getting to build your own personal connection with them is truly second to none!
